You put it out there and others will copy, just the natural of mankind. Look how many copied the Excalibur PP modification.. thousands and still. Did the Excal CTX fitting endcap so one could change out the headphones.. ..hundreds copied. Also did the endcap for the excalibur, one could change coils ...
Oppps no one copied that one..to much work, plus demand was not as much. Makes you wonder if someone else would have had these ideas.. I think so.

Wrong thread for asking really. But you got a source for the most current switch to use for pinpoint? Need to go through my excal 800 before water season. Shortening the coil wire while I'm at it.

Hey this is FMDF, we have a habit of jumping around on the topic

I went to the (Yellow) push button, IP68, the detector center turned me onto this one, I like it because I rarely go out of PP, and if I do it a quick check of the target with a push of the button and than back to PP/Am. It's a temporary ON, once you let go it goes back off. Been using this one since 2019.

Then the one I started with, the toggle.. that bad boy has jumped in price 6 dollars. I now use it for the audio cut off on the AQ. It's IP68 On - off
