:coolpics: Your squirrel shots have excellent clarity! And the sunset photo beautifully portrays what must have been really a captivating scene, with gorgeous hues delicately lining the clouds and mirrored in the water. Thanks for posting!

Nice... thanks for sharing! Are black bear sightings regularly reported in your area?

This sow and her two fuzzy cubs ambled through our front yard at dusk a couple of years ago. (Sorry for the poor photo quality.) The one cub adorably plopped down & took his time cleaning himself! 😉 This year, our neighbor across the street has seen the boar on his trail camera, and he surmises that it crosses through our property to access the woods. I admit I don't particularly like the thought of dangerous wildlife in a neighborhood like ours, but since it is here, I do enjoy the opportunites to observe God's creatures up-close.

Wow, those are some close-up encounters! Good thing you were able to keep a bit of a distance, though.
I agree, the vibrancy is striking between the crimson & golden leaves and the little wild pansy. Also, an excellent capture of the chipmunk.

Nice! Reminds me of the hunting grounds where my dad & brothers have set up their tree stands. I haven't joined the hunting excursions, but we make a family event of clearing the shooting lanes every autumn. I enjoy those trips into the woods.

Wow. There are some truly amazing artists here,
and they did some truly wonderful photographs.
