Wasn't easy, but sold some gold today.

Ive come so close to selling some of my finds but I just cant get myself to do it. I love all those finds that I gotta wait till Im retired or something. My friend is the same way but he's been hunting for over 10 years and has over 1000 gold rings in his collection but he refuses to sell. I guess it all depends but dont worry theres more gold to be found and a nice new detector is gonna help with that!

The good thing is you found some Gold to sell! Really, this is a great Outdoor pursuit oriented Sport with a PAYBACK!...Just try selling a pail of bluegills or some dead ducks or a deer or a snapping turtle or muskrat pelts or something...

 I can just see it. Trench coat, dark alley, "Psssst, hey buddy! Wanna buy a duck?"

I'd say nice job, nothing wrong with selling your finds to pay for equipment.
Not everyone is loaded and can buy all the new machines without batting an eye. All of my machines have paid for the other machines, I started with a bounty hunter quick silver, resold at a profit to buy my ace 250, resold that and my finds when I got a great deal on a used sov gt, sold my finds from that and bought my excal, sold finds from that and ROOFED MY HOUSE!

Thanks Z!
Man, I need to find more gold - my roof needs done too.

I hear you - so struggled w/ selling. Liked to pull out my finds and gaze at them every so often. Show them to my kids - my daughter would ask me about them, where I found them etc. I still have a few and I'll find some more :pirate:
