No not detecting, ground is like concrete. The smokey haze and yellow sky's from the Canadian fire are terrible in PA and NY. Sore throat and a headache from this crap.

At a distance here you see a lite haze so not to bad yet. Oh here is Newton Ma. and area.

Yeah... I work outside so I worked in morning and wore a mask while I cut my accounts.. it was bad here, still is with the heavy smoke smell and visibility under a mile... gonna be like this until at least sunday they say

And I just got a brand new Manticore, box came last night. Too bad I'm stuck inside. And the worst of it is they just hayed the local fields early last week (which they seem to do all at the same time), and I'm stuck inside while the grass grows taller every day :dash2:

Best of luck with your new detector, Randy! At least you will be able to get back out after the Haze is gone. Ole KT's knees are both so screwed up and surgery not yet needed, that He has not been able to detect for 10 years now. But that has not stopped him from stacking silver into the Royal Treasury whenever the Royal budget lets him! :woohoo:

Sunsets and the moon have been great in the Detroit area, perhaps the only + to come out of this toxic mess from CA. Just a little hazy and slight campfire smell, obviously and thankfully missed the brunt of it
