US Civil War Box Plate

Here is a pic of a box plate and a buckle I dug from Seven Pines/ White Oak battle... Box Plate cleaned up great-one of the best looking ones I have seen dug! The back still has some of the loops and writing. I think it says Ohio Ordinance... The Bucle is a little rough but still has the paws! Will add more pics as I get things cleaned up.

Hey H2oHog, did you see the buckle that I found last year? It is also a US puppypaw back with all it's hooks and about 90% of it's lead. I'll re-post it so you can see it. : ) Congrats on yours and keep up the good digging.

Thats great... Those hit hard and high tone on the detector... There is no mistaking that sound!
