hello there! i happen to live about an hour from you! i know the area that you live but not sure of any of those places but it sounds awesome... great pics too. if you ever want a hunting buddy i would be willing, however my warning is i am kinda new and dont have a sweet MD like yours... just a thought if you ever need help covering all the land that you have discovered. the only other hurdle is having the wife let me go! by the way, you must have some good diplomatic skills to score all that area...we envy you...

I returned to this site early yesterday AM hoping to get a few hours in before it got too hot & humid. I re- hunted some sections around the main house, and hit some other rectangular areas between the larger trees near the house. I came up with bits of copper wire, 5 older wheaties (pre 1920), 4 memorials, a section of heavy chain, and as if the nails around the house were not enough, I am finding fragments of galena - which is pure lead ore. Still running into shards of copper flashing from the old roof. I am hoping to hit the guest house and garage next week.
