Yeah, there are more out there to find, more than anyone might have thought, many don't put detectorists in a good light
I've also seen newspaper comic strips with detectorists finding a buried detector
Well, we can see how the media elites see metal detectorists--snack chip hoarding, violent people that use metal detectors for weapons, and are pathetic losers to be laughed at by pretty young women.I wasn't aware of all this when I took up the coil, I may just have to give it up to save my remaining dignity, what little I have left.
Yeah, I know, the usual Kalifornian is going to chime in with I should hunt at night--it wouldn't make any difference, I would still feel like an untouchable.
Yeah, I can see what you mean, with some exceptions, they either make detectorists look like unfriendly thugs, goofy clowns, scrounging losers, or simply showing bad skills with unrealistic results
There was at least one on the old csi las vegas, had the coil mounter backwards if i remember correctly
If I can find that one I'll add it, that should be a hoot of a clip having that backwards, I guess the equipment manager didn't bother to read the manual
