Please see below image. Appears to be a "Good for 5 cents" trade token made from what I suspect is aluminum. There is a C. W. in the center.

Looking for a time frame for this style of token.

On 1873 maps for my area there was a "Chas Whitehead Hotel" that was a hotel, bar and brothel. Was probably still an establishment into the early 1900's. Could this token be from that era?

Found it about six inches down on a nearby river lot that used to be a lumber mill back in the 1800's into 1900's.

Cool find! Aluminum didn't get used heavily for tokens until the 1890s, so most likely the token dates after that. Could be anywhere from 1890s to 1940s. Anything on the back?

The back is not in as good of shape, but it is a repeat of the front.
