Thrift Store Tesoro Golden Sabre Find

Hey all,

I like to go to thrift stores regularly. You never know what you'll find. I currently have an Equinox 600, and a couple of other "toy" ones for my kids. I was at the store this past weekend and saw an old bag. I opened it and saw a fully complete Tesoro Golden Sabre. I then saw the price tag: $7.99. I had no idea if it worked, but for $8 bucks, I'll take a flier .

Does anyone know what one of these would go for in 2024? I don't know much about these older detectors, but it isn't something I'd ever use. I looked through eBay and the prices are all over the place.

I used a Silver Sabre for a while. Great detector, for the times.
