The view outside my bedroom window ....

We had forgotten our local fireworks display was postponed from Thursday night due to rain. We had gone to bed early last night and I was half asleep when I heard the first BOOM.

I ran downstairs, grabbed my camera, tried to set it in the dark and knew I didn't have time to mess with the tripod. The moon in my pics are a little blurry because of the lack of a tripod, but oh well.

We watched the fireworks outside our bedroom windown. The fireworks went off in front of the moon. It was pretty.
