All beaches are different. A beach half mile away could be sanded while the 1 you are on is not. This is why research and scouting are so important. Beaches can change dramatically in days , let alone hours.

That's why I don't always pay attention to what the charts and graphs say. Sometimes you just gotta go out and swing your coil! I agree with KOB, every beach is different...you never know until you look!

Yup. Most of the times the charts are accurate. Even live cam streams can be misleading. Especially when it comes to storms. Several times a site says 6'-8' surf , I'm there within an hour and it's the normal 3-4'. I wanna call them up and tell them to get out there and make this surf giant like you said it was. Lol

A lot of times I find a spot only a couple bus lengths long. You get past that it's the mumbles.
