I had one of those great weeks that we all get once in a while. Got permission to hunt a house tear down not more than 10 minutes from home. It was a small yard on a quarter acre lot where an older home had once been. Some great finds including:
A turn of the century iron toy locomotive
1 lead soldier (fits great in the train)
1 Ford Dollar (Copper) from the 1933 World's Fair
25 wheaties (oldest 1919-s)
4 Mercury dimes
2 Barber dimes
1 Washington Quarter
I don't know how many times I have to learn that same lesson. Go slow and listen to the machine and not the numbers.
Best of luck to every one. Hope you find a similar site.
