silver/gold kit, diamond/gemstone tester, scale, and loop

I just bought this bundle on ebay the other day. I am waiting for it to come in.

I paid 49.00 bucks for everything shipped. Did I over pay? The listing overpriced everything saying the whole thing was worth 214$ lol ebay retail price vs reality is always skewed to the high end.

Well when I bought my acid kit off ebay it was like $25 BUT it was only the acids and stone.... So I think you did pretty good!

ok thanks. I really wanted the gem tester, acid tester, scale.

I got a nice eye piece. so I might have to raffle off the one I like the least.

so a dumb question. how does the acid test stuff work? will the acid eat my skin?

rub the gold item on the stone, then drop the acid on the stuff?

I have some small nuggets (4-5 grams of them) I panned out of pay dirt from alaska. I really want to see what the gold tests out as.

where gloves or just don't get it on you. IDK what it will do but be careful,

What you wanna do is scratch the piece of gold on the stone hard.. Make a nice mark on the stone... Then put a drop of what ever caret it is. If the mark goes black its fake. If nothing happens and the mark stays there then its real... Hope this helps! good luck!

thanks guys, I hope I get the kit in the next couple days. i am dying to know what the carat the little gold nuggets are. I am hoping 22k. but my luck the guy takes 14K jewelery and makes it look like small nuggets..

I recently ordered a feebay acid test kit, too. But this was just the acid and the stone. What I want to know is if that diamond tester really works. I almost bought one. Just looking for some info before I do.
