Roseville/Citrus Heights area - need a buddy.

Hi, I am looking for one or more people to help me research and then comb historic sites, old houses, churches etc. Northern CA gold rush area. I have no major preference for targets.

I am 41, army veteran, and too much time on my hands.

I am a novice, but I am strict about always plugging my holes and respecting property / the law. I would like if the person knows more than me about detecting. I am doing this for fun, but it is necessary exercise and it would be cool to find something interesting once in a while.

Please, don't mind picking up rubbish as we go. People are much more receptive if you show them you care about their property and cleaning up after yourself.

Not sure that group is still around.... and there known for hitting up beat up parks. I'm pretty sure Mark Dayton aka brass medic on YouTube runs a detecting club up in the placerville area. Might want to check it out.

I'm now up in the yuba city/ Marysville area now. A few older parks out here I haven't detected yet. Plus you got the feather river out here which was a huge gold rush area
