But will wait till tomorrow to open it as it is the ONLY present under my tree! As for my gift to jmr7 -- it's still in transit (so much for 2-Day Delivery) -- hopefully it will arrive today as it is less than 50 miles away! We can only hope! (It didn't -- sitting in the truck at the Columbia, IL P. O. no doubt waiting to be unloaded come Friday!)

A great box of goodies arrived from Silverfishin today!

I received a great box of goodies from Silverfishin today, and it's wonderful! I got a great-smelling candle, two rolls of uncirculated 2005 bison-back nickels, a 2005 proof set, a bag with a wheatie, buffalo nickel, v nickel and a merc, a pocket scale, a head lamp and a magnifier. What fun opening that box and finding all those great gifts. Thank you so much for the wonderful present, Silverfishin!

Here's The Reveal -- My Gift From jmr7!!!

She included a note which reads:

Hi Paula --

I hope you like the gifts. Boy Do I! There are a couple of things in the pockets of the Kelly Co. waist bag. Since your nickname is PennyFinder, I thought you might like the penny wrappers.

The penny "souvenir" is from the Magic House which is in St. Louis. . . The Magic House is a nationally acclaimed children's museum that offers hundreds of hands-on educational exhibits. I found this while metal detecting.

Another one of the items is a religious item I found while metal detecting to bring you good luck. Angel In My Pocket

The foreign coins were ones I received in the metal detecting exchange last year. I got more than these two and thought I would forward these on so that you could exchange them. And I will!

And last but not least is the headlamp. Not sure if you have one, but with the days being shorter and it getting dark earlier or maybe you just want to hunt later into the evening when the weather gets nicer I thought you might like this. Boy Do I! The batteries should be included. Already put 'em in!

I heard from Jmr7 that she FINALLY received her package that was due to be delivered on Dec. 23 (Priority 2-Day Delivery) -- so much for that. I saw that the package was in transit on the 24th (only having to travel 34.1 miles) to it's destination but it didn't get delivered on the 24th -- nooooo they let it sit until today! She said she would be posting a picture soon!

I got my package from PennyFinder today. I think it is so interesting that we sent each other two items that were very similar. I sent her a headlamp, and she sent me a hat that has a light attached to it.

And I sent her an apron, and she sent me an apron (to be items in).

The 9 volt batteries are perfect for my F2. And I love the containers. I have a metal box (that isn't pretty) that I put everything in right now.

I am so thrilled with what I received. Thank you so much PennyFinder.
