I've an idea and was wondering if anyone has tried it or, anyone has the materials to do so.
When I first started working, I used dye penetrate to inspect for flaws on cast helicopter parts. It would find cracks etc that you could not see with the naked eye. I wonder if the dye penetrent process would reveal those "invisible" details we often look for on for instance, 1800's LC's etc.
Anyone try it? Anyone have access to the required materials?
