Piece from a pocket watch

Found this while out in a school yard today. Was able to clean it up. Now just to find out informs on the type of watch it possible.

Looks like a winding key, but for which brand watch I have no clue. Cool find.

That's a very cool key. Unfortunately, winding keys were usually not brand specific.

I was able to clean it a little better, gold
Plated now just trying to find a makers mark on it.
