One of those days. Just couldn't get over any silver.

I had the morning off and went to the old part of town hitting curbstrips. $6+ dollars in clad. 2 wheat cents. The coolest find was this souvenir badge from Vallejo California dated July 4th 1921. Not sure is it is that old or not. Regardless, I put my shovel through it and nearly cut it in half. Just one of those hunts where the exercise and fresh air were the highlights.

Anyone have info on that badge? I can't find any. Interestingly, that's the date that Jack Torrance appears in the photo of the 1921 ball in the last scene of The Shining. :?:

Edit: I looked closer at that pendant and chain. Its 925. I did get a little silver after all.

What???? No Silver? That's not like you Stiffwrists. Even I got a 51 Rosie today, my first for the year. Isn't it nice to have bare ground that's defrosted?

Good job getting on the silver board for the year! Yes! It is nice to have diggable soil. I enjoy this time of year 45 degrees is just right for me.

Funny thing... I looked closer at that little pendant and chain. Its 925. Guess it DID get some silver!

Can't complain about this outing Tyler. Some neat finds and a lot of clad. Glad to hear the pendant is Sterling. Gosh I'm impatient for Spring. Trapper
