OAK ISLAND

If they keep digging holes the island may sink ....

And here's my prediction for what will happen 1000 yrs. from now : When the "swiss cheese" is examined, there will be found to have been SOME spots that DIDN'T get holes through them (after all, Swiss cheese is not composed of 100% "holes"). And if anyone, present or future, can find ANY AREA that DIDN'T become a hole, then presto : It must mean fabulous treasure. It will merely mean : They should have dug a hole OVER HERE or OVER THERE.

The lack of treasure will NEVER be attributed to : "No treasure".

The only thing they are going to find is what they plant there... Who actually thinks that "templar cross" was actually found there? If it was old like that it wouldn't be dark it would have been white like musket balls that come out of the water... even modern bullets I dig come out white, when I say modern I'm talking about bullets from the mid 1900's... Look... its a make pretend program... its not reality its for people who wish it was true...

I was going to say something, but .... I held back. Yes, you're right . I too preferred Mary Ann & Ginger. If Kob prefers the Skipper or Mrs. Howell, well .... then .... to each his own, eh ? :shifty:
We men must think what Mary Ann & Ginger look now. not the young ladies that we watch many years ago.

It would seem for the amount of manpower used for all those large build/engineering projects all over that island, even from the original travelers to the island, that some of the low level workers, sailors, soldiers would have wrote something into a journal. The idea of vague references made of treasure only from upper class historical figures doesn't wash, there would be so many workers needed for any one of the features found, the stone roads, wharfs, large holes in the ground. These people eventually get home and tell the stories of their adventures, or write memories into journals. I would think there should be a well documented history of OI already, seems they could have organized many detectorist's and swept the island in a controlled grid pattern and found more relics to form a history of activity.

Oh no... they need to drag out this make pretend story as long as possible or they will actually have to get real jobs

Just like Gilligan's Island : They could never *really* get rescued. Lest if they did, then the show would have been over.

No. No. And No ! I want to remember them when I was a kid and they were in their prime. No old bags. It's no different than all the rock & metal bands I grew up with in the 70s & 80s. I gave up seeing some of them about 7 years ago. Just about all of them can't sing anymore and use backing tracks. Farewell tours are endless jokes , prices even worse. I remember watching my parents get excited seeing their music from the 50s & 60s on TV. Thinking this is lame. But here I am now , an old fart. Watching my music thinking , this is lame. Lol. Life goes full circle....

It's still there. Just : A little more to the right. A little more to the left. A little deeper. But at *no* point is there not a fabulous treasure !!

Wait, How far to the right before turning left and then down:no:

In the end, the real treasure was the friendships made along the way :ewink:

honestly, i just wish they'd strip the whole island off inch by inch already. process the dirt during the strip to sift through. it would be the only way to see everything going down.

Correct me if I'm wrong but........If someone was going to dig 100' in the ground to bury a treasure, why the HELL would they travel half way around the world to do it. Seems to me you could do that in many locations around the world without hauling all that equipment so far. I know, I know......Some will say they didn't intend on digging that deep when they went there. Ok, if that is true then why hasn't anyone recovered anything they used to dig with?

The answer is they didn't, they won't, they can't because it never was. I have seen some stories that are considered wild conspiracy theories that have a whole lot more truth and evidence to back them than this garbage. Those are just the FACTS.
