Has anyone seen or has anyone made a complete comparison chart to help guide buyers what Nokta has to offer at the different price points? Here is this for example.

This is a basic chart posted by Nokta on their website. FindX and the waterproofed FindX Pro would be positioned before the Simplex models so basically FindX and FindX Pro are very beginner level simplified Simplex Lites with the same 15 kHz operating frequency, the same 0 to 99 VDI scale and the same "duck quack" audio.

Thank you that is helpful, but I guess I'm looking for more of a side by side chart like the simplex example. If I was looking for a chart , it would be something like that to see what how they compare and what I'm willing to pay for in my budget. What would I be willing to not have or have for $50, $100, $200.....

I do own the Legend. Can speak on that one for sure. It has every option you would want to tinker with to tune it to a particular site. In addition to the Multi Frequency modes (M1, M2, M3) you can also put it into single frequency mode as desired. There are some good coil choices for it to help deal with junky sites (LG15 and LG24) and larger coils(LG 30/LG35) to cover larger areas quicker. There are some things to know about the Legend that I think are important. 1) You can use it out of the box and find things. But you are not fully utilizing all it has to offer like that. 2)The manual is semi-informative but at times it leaves you guessing and wanting a better explanation. 3)The build quality is definitely there and is better than other competitive brands.
4)You can change settings in a way that either helps you or hurts you. With so many settings if you get it too out of whack your depth will suffer and other items may be missed due to too heavy of a hand on settings like discrimination. But that is the same with every detector.

How about bad things? Well, the only bad thing I've seen so far are that the ID's can be very strange depending on soil moisture, soil type, etc. The Legend has a lot of power, but tuned wrong that goes out the window. The manual isn't always forthcoming about certain settings like stability, ground stabilization, and iron filter are ones that seems to confuse people. There have been some snafus for some people when updating firmware that was mostly on Windows 10 and up machines if used to run the update from. Some say that version 1.10 beta 3 (I think) was the best version and when 1.11 came out it was not the same. Some have complained about shaft wobble since the carbon fiber upgrade.
Me personally I have seen the shaft wobble (very slight and fixed with a piece of shipping tape). I've also noticed a seemingly short battery life. No matter how much I charge it the detector continues to pull a slight amperage (0.142A) no matter how long you leave it charging. It never drops to zero on the amperage while charging which is strange. I believe this may due to the RTC that keeps the time and hour meter data. It probably pulls from the main battery instead of being a dedicated battery on the circuit board.

Overall though I like the Legend. It's found items in places I've hammered over the years with multiple detectors. I like the audio and ability to change settings to optimize my finds and make it sound the way my brain agrees with. Take all this with a grain of salt. Not everybody is going to like a certain detector. Bottom line, the Legend has a lot to offer for a price, and keeps up with much more expensive detectors.
