New to forum, ATP on order and ready to Hunt!

Hi all,

I live in Clearfield County, PA so if you're near shoot me a message. I have only swung a MD for about 2 hours. My brother brought one while visiting and we went out and dug some trash, he is very new as well. This still didn't push me away from the hobby, it brought me in, just wandering what else could be unearthed with such precision. I now have the bug and have ordered an AT Pro, digger and pinpointer won't be far behind. I hope to find some locals that may want to do some group hunts, or have some areas they don't mind sharing. I've been researching ghost towns hoping to give some a try. Can't wait to post my first finds. I want to thank all the Active Members and the wealth of information already on the site, it's been some knowledgeable reading thus far.

Welcome! I've had my AT-Pro for several weeks now and still learning how to use it. Found my first silver yesterday (1944 Mercury Dime) in a very trashy area so I think I'm beginning to understand what the AT is trying to tell me. Its a great machine and I think you'll love it. Good Luck!

Congrats on your new machine. Im brand new as well and will say it takes practice, practice, practice! Ive had my Ace 350 for a couple weeks now and just now getting the hang of it. About to go through my first set of batteries. I live about about 1.5 hours away, pm me some time for a hunt. Theres nothing up here of any real historic significance but the beaches are interesting,lol.
