For health reason digging has been a little bit slow for me of late. ......(+ age catching up with me now!)

Having had surgery last week I have to be careful for the next 21 days.

....anyway, prior to surgery I did have some good finds out.

Fantastic finds!! Metal detecting in the UK just takes it to another level. We in the States think we have "old dirt", but our UK brothers and sisters have every right to snicker a bit at that thought. Thanks for sharing your wonderful finds!

In the photo, "Old Buckles Plus" in the top row between the buckle with two "ovals" and the thimble, what is that object with the oval and two "tines" beneath? I think I may have seen something similar before but can't identify. Thanks!

Great finds! I love your play area, it just screams "I have old coins and relics, come find them"!

Shheesshh. And here in the USA, we think we're getting "old" coins when we get back into the 1800s !

What can I say but you flat out scored Doug. I never get tired of seeing the VERY old coins you find. Well done.

So this was a slow day for you?!? Always amazing what you find Doug!!

Take care of yourself my friend!

Thank you for your kind comments.

Spelling mistake....AD1625-49 Scottish Charts 1st silver 20 pence. (XX)... should read .....Charles 1st silver 20 pence. (XX)

Man 1500's and 1600's silver hammered coins :wow: and such an amazing looking countryside too. Beautiful - the coins and the hunting grounds. Congrats on a wonderful hunt!
