Manticore Extra Coils

So why even bring it up ? Could it be to bring attention to yourself and your channel...hmmm

Well. Let’s see. If a tester has the coils. What would this mean? At least it shows manufacturer is progressing, right?

I don’t need any attention.

My saying what I did was just to show manufacturer is working to bring coils to market. For those that care or are interested.

There doesn’t always have to be a negative ulterior motive for saying some thing on this forum.

Myself I am positive minded person. Not all folks are bad folks. Even me.

Bye.

Ok then. Sounds like you are turning a new leaf.

Tnss , That's all good than , I just asked because fresh drop season starts here in July , when I would need the 15 coil in the wet sand , I am also hoping the small coil works well in the water up to knee deep , didn;t know you were a tester for MINELAB :waytogo::wave:

Here's what Dankowski says on the coil delay. Direct from his forum:

Tom-----What is the reason for this delay in getting Manticores out (in users hands)?----Has it got to do with Minelab implementing this new update?----Manticores have just been very slooowly trickling in to dealers.----Have even heard now that there won't be anymore coming to dealers until sometime in July.------Del

Del........ the true bottom-line is: DEMAND
The demand for this detector has been the highest......... since ML history. And............ even to the point whereby............ accessory coils production...is 'on hold'....... until we can get this SUPPLY/demand issue resolved on the actual unit itself. (Accessory coils are a 'secondary' concern...... compared to 'primary' ""actual unit"" production).

Took 6 months for the Equinox coils to break out , any longer , Ill think three times before ill buy another new machine from Minelab , unless its a PI machine , I like to use a 15 inch coil in the wet , looks like I might be swinging the Equinox 800 & 15 inch coil in July & August, thats why I didn't push the sale, - now since- Minelab has a supply & demand issue , i hope another manufacturer comes out with a waterproof Beach / Water PI now , as the slow roll from Minelab is like a hemorroid , I new there was a reason they stopped jumping from planes with a new machine :takeoff:Of coarse they jumped out of the plane with extra coil's for TNSS :nah::madmad: Dave what was the deal , I need a 15 Manticore coil 👀 It seams since you have them , they had to have started making them , large companies just don't just make ONE 🫣

Earl, .. don't be waiting around for a bigger or better coil. All that is needed is to be out swinging. No reports of gold from any OC hunters yet other than junk rings and coins. Here... Sandy Point has been the spot so far. Several fresh drop golds have been found, the reason...the water is warmer here. Bay is now 75, OCMD is just hitting 69/70. After July 4th, get out there buddy! No matter what coils that madicore () has..

Ill be out there Joe , did your GF take those hand cuffs off yet buddy , hope I see you down , your like a Ghost now , never see ya , next two days rain , house cleaning , today I cut grass , next week pirate ships get cleaned , tring to stay busy , by the way , WHAT IS A Madicore :?::roll::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing: Is that a wench cook for Cfm-ct :cooking::icecream:😍

What is the best deep seeking detector in Connecticut?
Beach hunting? Any multi-frequency will do... Dirt? I still use my MXT when I dirt hunt it can find everything a Nox can... I pulled 20 silver and 134 wheats from a permission and then let my friend hunt it with me with his Nox and he found a modern button I missed and 2 wheats... when you dig 134 wheats who cares if you miss 2 lol... that was a lot of getting down on ones knee for all the targets I found on that permission... it was mostly in backyard and tree line... all silver in back yard and all the wheats, found a couple lead toys in front yard but that was it... I grid and overlap my swings in the dirt so not to miss anything...

One doesn't need a high end detector to be successful... I only used a SEF 6x8 coil. Property was from 1860 and hadn't been hunted before. I never went back to finish it maybe in the fall when grass goes dormant homeowner said anytime...

I liked those SEFcoils on my E-tracs , the 6x8 was great in school yards , but loved the larger SEF in more open spots

Get you a Deus ll without the update. Get the 13" coil. Make a small sled for the coil. Get the dog a harness. Connect the harness to the sled. Throw out some milk bones in a straight line. Let the dog go after the milk bones. Watch where the sled is when you get a hit and mark it. Only draw back is if the dog takes a deuce and the sled runs over it with the Deus ll coil. If that happens, toss a milk bone in shallow water.

That was awesome... you win the toaster for post of the year...

Here’s pic of extra coils for Manticore that I have in my possession. M8 and M15.

Cheers.
Don’t be surprised to see these available soon for purchase.
Can’t say exactly when but expect none the less.

Using the 15 on the Manticore , have you noticed any depth increase , besides more coverage , compared to the M11 ?
