I was a skeptic about dowsing rods and using them for locating underground lines. Went with a buddy to Drummond Montana to dig outhouse pits for old bottles. He used those rods for locating lines and they did work perfectly. We had never previously been to that property and had no preconceived idea where lines might be. Still somewhat of a skeptic but they sure worked that day.

They have for me. This guy was consistent throughout the yard. Repeatable for every utility, only two bent copper rods. Again, am still somewhat of a skeptic but saw this first hand.

Yes, they "have for you". But that wasn't my question. My question was wondering : Why can't it be repeated for whenever it's subjected to double blind tests. Because to say "it worked for me", while ... yes .... interesting, is still anecdotal. I mean, people say horoscopes "worked for me". And miracle magnet patch pills "worked for me", etc....
Note, that's not saying that the person with the anecdotal story ISN'T 100% RIGHT , or ISN'T 100% SINCERE. It's only me asking : Why can't we ever go from "personal testimony" to actual repeatable scientific double blind testing.

I think you could in this instance. Repeatable consistent results. Double blind would work. You could even blindfold my friend and get the same results.

Then I would encourage him to show this ability to the world. He would be the first ever to go beyond anecdotal.
