Hello Friends.
So like the title says, I'm going to post and link some cool items that are definitely not necessary in anyway but still pretty darn cool to have. I also wanted to see what items other people use that aren't necessarily needed but you're still glad you have them. So I mentioned in another post (that got taken down) that I recently turned a old building of mine that I was using for my business into something different. I have a 36(or 38) foot by 14 (or 16) foot building that I was using for my old Metal Fabrication business of mine, we closed that business after Covid and the shop was basically just sitting there lol. I just recently renamed the building into the "Hobby Hut" for my Dad and I to use for all of our little hobbies, etc. Mainly Metal Detecting, Art Studio, Wood Working, and our "History Collection" of cool artifacts, finds, etc. It's actually pretty darn cool but we basically JUST started working on the project so I am trying to deck it out with all kinds of neat things, so not only did I want to show the random things I got for it, but also see what other people would put into it, or what they use, etc as well. I am obviously not going to list all the little odds and ends lol, but I went to Temu and just bought a bunch of cool trinkets like Wall Art, and cool rugs and other little "decoration" type things. The Temu stuff won't be in for awhile but after I get everything in and get it all setup, I will take some pictures for everyone if they are even interested hehe. I know the Temu items are definitely going to be "Hit or Miss" lol, so I just ordered a shit ton of items and hoping that 40% of the items are cool lmao. Here are some of the "usable" type items (not from Temu)

1) I got THIS basically for my Dad because he absolutely loves looking at stuff up close and learning as much as he can about items and his eye sight has been getting worse and worse lately and he is having a hard time using his jewelers loupe.

2) also THIS is something I am guessing a lot of you guys probably have as well. It's not like a "top of the line" ultrasonic cleaner, but gets the job done for sure. We might get a 2nd one or a larger one later on.

3) I ended up getting THIS because I am thinking about starting a YouTube channel, to document my journey not only in the Metal Detecting hobby but also kind of a "Life Style" thing too. I was in a Motorcycle accident that left me disabled, I was hospitalized for 3 weeks, bed bound for months and lost 60% of my skin so took nearly 9 months for some of the open wounds to completely heal. After the accident and other major things in my life, I unfortunately ended up gaining a lot of weight as well, so I would like to document my journey back to living life, losing weight and getting healthier both physically and mentally!

4) THESE are definitely going to help out with organizing different finds, etc (I got 2 for now, but might end up grabbing 2 more). We obviously have a bunch of different shelves and we have a couple different organizers from when this was a shop as well, but getting these are specifically for our finds, etc.

5) I am sure a lot of you guys also use THESE too, but we just never ended up getting some, but recently we have got permission to hunt on a couple pieces of land that are 10-20 acres in size, so having these will definitely help (if not a must have at that point hehe)

6) here are a couple things that again I'm sure a bunch of you guys (and gals) also use as well but THESE with some ISOPROPYL Alcohol is definitely helpful all around for some finds, especially coins. Then we use THESE after spraying them down

7) and lastly for now, I ended up getting two of these GEAR KEEPERS. If you guys don't have some of these, I actually definitely recommend them, but you will definitely want to get something with a 18oz+ draw on them for your Pinpointer (depending on the weight of your pinpointer obviously). Just make sure to do your research and weigh your pinpointer so u can get the correct draw weight on them. I have always used the company called "Gear Keeper" and I got the I think 24oz draw on mine but they have all kinds of different weights (also make sure you got a long enough draw on it as well. When I first ordered mine I ended up getting one with the 24oz retraction weight but only had a like 16" draw so I had to send it back for the 32" draw), you just want to make sure you get a retraction force higher than the weight of your pinpointer obviously lol, so it's not just flopping around. Once you get it dialed in and correct retraction weight for you pinpointer, not to floppy, not to much where it's a pain in the ass, but just right......they are awesome, imo anyways hehe.

Thanks guys and gals, let me know what you use too please :-)
