And was greeted by the Royal Guard with a welcome and notice that 3 Gentlemen arrived in His Majesty's absence. They were well treated, spent the night, and in the Royal Courtyard awaiting KT's return!
As soon as KT cleaned Himself up from the travels and had some refreshment Himself, He went to visit with these gentlemen. They introduced themselves and His Majesty discovered that they were a retired trio....one tenor, one baritone, and one bass. KT asked for a sample of their talents and they immediately gave His Majesty a 10 minute impromptu medley of songs! KT requested what or why did they visit the Royal Castle, and their spokesman stated that they were not tired of singing, but were tired of the constant road life and wished to settle down in a more permanent location. Hearing that, KT offered them some land just outside the Castle Walls with a small cottage....to just deed it to them, in exchange for singing at some of the Royal Banquets. They were very happy to hear of that possiblity and requested if they might see the cottage. KT called one of the Royal Guards, charged him with escorting these 3 Bens to visit said cottage and bring them back to the Royal Courtyard. They returned about 1 hour later and said that not only was it satisfactory, but absolutely too generous of KT. They wanted to pay KT for the cottage, so His Majesty was willing to accept the payment that KT told them. So for a payment of $1.50, KT signed a Royal Proclamation that they owned the cottage! They were in disbelief, but gratefully accepted KT's offer!
KT then took them to the Royal Photographer, and had their baggage moved to the cottage for them!
