I had a dealer once. He had Mexicans smuggle illegal HF-9 function detectors across the border, by planes, and under water... Also, made sure that the detectors that went underwater in the sub-marines were wrapped with garbage bags... That was back when the challenger blew up.

Why would they bash this thread. You made a good choice on a detector and didn't trash any other brand in the process. No reason for anyone to bash you for that. I'm going to read those AT Pro tips myself as I also purchased one this year. I'm sure I did not get the deal that the deal maker got though.

As far as tips on the ATP....
I run mine Pro Mode..Zero...25- 35 -40 on the IRON
GB is usually at 70 to 80 I -minus it down to like 5 on either(plus or minus)
mine is so hot I run the sens on 2 bars because I get tired of digging all
of those coins and relics...thats 2 bars from minimum...

For a few grand you could get my Limited edition 9 function that you'll never see anywhere else.. It can go 2 meters depth and has voice system activation.. Having to downgrade, because it works too good.
