I am so totally geeked out! I haven't been this excited about a machine since the V3i first came out. Anyway, my Legend is here and I will be out all weekend trying to learn the machine. I've watched 100+ YouTube videos on it, but there is no better way to learn than to get out there and do it.

Yeah, but this post was about the pro/con praises of the Legend detector. And remember that to "find a LC in PA" has no reflection on the abilities & pro/con of any machine tech-talk. Because, shucks, in PA, all ya gotta do is attach a pie-tin to the end of a stick. Or grab a Radio shack or ACE 250. And you could have found the same LC. Right ? Tsk tsk

I think you're going to like it. I've had mine about 2 years. Found my first gold ring, two silver rings and about $150 in clad. And, I only have about 100 hours on it. If I had more time, I think I could fine tune the machine and do even better.

My Pro pack came with 2 coils. The larger 11"coil and will find the deep. A bit more difficult to pinpoint than the 6"er. Run stock with 6 tones and learn the sweet tones.
