12.21g 22k and some sort of green stone I’m pretty sure is jade. Melt is $671  I may try and sell this one at some point for a lot more than that. Largest gold ring I’ve found so far.

Lake bottom time since water level is down :)

Signal was bouncing around 19,20,21 and it was the third target of the hunt. Had I been an hour in I probably wouldn’t have dug it!

Was pretty deep in the lake clay, 10” my guess.

Imagine my surprise :wow:, might be my best find. Gold ring #3 for the year!

I’m going to call it a honker  and it fits!

This hobby can be crazy some days :)

Happy hunting!

WOW ! Nice chunk of gold there GS. A huge attaboy on the find. At 22k thats honker enough. Heck yeah. You've found more gold rings this year than I have since I've been in the hobby. Continued success. Mark

A huge congrats on that ring! I don't wear yellow gold but for that one I would make an exception.

Jade is supposed to be a lucky stone in Chinese culture... The other marks across from the 22k mark look like Chinese characters... Maybe the makers mark on a "lucky jade ring"! Lucky for you anyway!

Thanks Mark. Dirt gold is much harder to find than water gold, especially if you're not hitting up tot-lots and soccer field sidelines and maybe it's just a sign of the times too.

Pretty sure that's jade, and you should absolutely be able to get over melt for that ring. Nice find man!
Thank you Jeff. I'm going to do a bit of research when I get time on pricing, seen some similar online for 2k or so but who knows if those'll ever sell. Have to see.

Thanks AJ. I don't wear yellow gold either, and nether does my wife. I had this on my pinky for a day or so just to celebrate, but ti's not a look I go for
Cha Ching! Great find G.S! Nothing beats water hunting most of the time!
Thank you Metal!

Wow! What a beauty and a rare find for sure! Congrats GS!
Thank you Compass!
Awesome find. The person who lost it probably was very upset. Guessing late 40s or early 50s.
Thanks Rebel. I can’t imagine wearing something like this swimming…. Although theoretically it could have been lost before the dam was built. - not sure what exaclty was at this location before it was buried in water…. But something was from the “relics” I’m finding.
