I'm definitely in the club..
I forgot I also found a 1928 half crown that was in a spill. My first silver coin was a 36 walker, then 366 days later I found a seated 1856 half.
This year I found 3 silver halves, one being a 1904 Barber.
Looking for BIG BEN to complete the collection.
Maybe next season.....?

That's crazy...Thought they were rare since no-one carries them anymore
They are, since everyone lost theirs
I have found two Walkers, two Benjamin's, maybe a half dozen non silver Kennedy's, two Ikes and one Peace dollar.
Hard to believe that back in the day people used to carry these heavy coins around all the time...but they did.
Not many people carry them because of their size, so just wondering how many of you have found one.
One clad half I found near a football field parking area I think a referee must have parked, near there and dropped it, one side was painted redProbably 50-70 dollar coins (gold presidential or Sacajawea)
3 Ike's
And about a dozen Kennedy halves.
Only one silver. A walking Liberty.
Amazingly, I find halves and dollars pretty regularly I newwrt parks and sports fields. I think a lot of refs use them for coin flips.
