You are probably right. I took liberties. I read the other day that early in his career he was struggling. He was doing his act at a club frequented by Mafia types. He heard one of them complaining about how he wasn't getting "respect", something very important in that line of work.

And he worked that into his act with great results.

If those type of people would spend just a fraction of their time actually working as they do trying to scam people, they would have a pretty good life. Now if you are unable to work, that equals legitimate need, but you will starve before you make a living detecting. There are plenty of charities, family and support out there for that. If you were local and have a legit need, I would help you in a sec. You try to scam me, I'll show you the door.

If you're hoping to replace work income, you'll be making far less than minimum wage. If you're just looking for a cheap entry point into the hobby, check your local classifieds for a used metal detector to start. Minelab and Nokta are recommended often.

Unable to work, would usually mean unable to detect. No? I mean, there's lots of jobs available that don't even require as much physical "work" as metal detecting.

This seems more like unwilling to work.

BTW guys, I really want the new HF Deus 2 coil. However, I'm unwilling to work for it. Can you guys please help me find one for free?
