Hello,

Have you all found enough to pay for the detector? That is my first goal in detecting. Money is not why I detect, but breaking even is a goal.

In 9 months I'm a little over halfway there. Of course if I sold off some of my finds, I'd almost hit it. Also, I only get out for maybe an hour a week and had a good 4 month period that I couldn't go out at all.

Most valuable was probably a Cartier 18k ring last year, but i haven't weighed any of my recent finds....

I would have to get up off the chair sitting on the beach at the edge of my private island I own here in the Bahama's, then take the helicopter up to the house and look through all my stuff but, off the top of my head....nope.

I found a 39 gram 14K Bracelet

in the same area on two different hunts. The bracelet was appraised at almost $2,500. the necklace has not been appraised.
