Had a Hard 5 Hour Hunt Today and Was Rewarded W/5 Rings!!

I think it's time for a reality check friends!!

I quick look at my notes revealed these stats which gives a little clarification to the finding so much gold idea.:?:

My records which don't reflect a few typical hunts not worth posting except as "paying my dues by cleaning up the junk" hunts!!

Had I kept accounts of those hunts too these stats would be higher!!

In 9 hunts 469 targets were recovered in 32 3/4 hours representing moving tons of sand, gravel and fairly large stones from the last recovered gold item to the next.:digginahole:

Lots a work Friends.................and I enjoyed every minute of it!!:D

GL&HH Fellow Hunters,

Different beach Craig.

I thought I'd clean out all the easy targets before enviting you and Joe to hunt it so you would have a challenge searching for any "deep signals" I missed and not have to work so hard removing the junk!!

That's what pals are for CJ... keep cleaning that beach before inviting us up again...

CJ ought to just give lessons :)

That way all would be happy ..

You guys should all take a ride down to my nightmare ..
Besides the 10,000 lbs of iron everywhere , my buddy SD has invited thousands to hunt our stretch of beach..

Ain't it all just beautiful :D

I love it all :)

Let's see now, 10,000 lbs of iron at todays market price....................it may pay to look into a good magnet Poppa!!

5 Rings In A Day, What's Next!?

Sometimes the let down can be down-right laughable!!

As an Old Hunter I know the odds of finding gold are deminished with every ring I remove from an old, inactive beach, but as always I live in hope of finding more jewels!

Two days ago after 4 hours of hunting I had recovered 57 common targets and the small toe ring in the pics below.

Yesterday was primarilly a "scouting" expedition to determine how sand has moved within my hunting grounds and the report is sad. (Not much improvement over-all.)

4.5 hours of wandering resulted in 63 of the usual targets recovered including a mangled gold plated silver ear ring and a very tiny silver dolphin on a broken silver necklass.

It was a great day to be hunting with lots of eye candy and human comedy to keep the old guy's mind occupied.

GL&HH Friends,

CJ

My dad used to say "chicken today, feathers tomorrow" a wise man was he. I know you'll keep your nose to the grindstone and produce wonderful treasure once again....sooner than later unless I miss my guess....Bill

Better hunt than I did today CJ... somedays are golden but others are skunks :D
