So I I’ve been using the Grey Ghost Anphibian 2s on my manticore for about 3 weeks now. I do like them, however occasionally the signals will get a little bit “crackle-y” is the best way I can describe it. Is this pretty normal operation for these headphones? I ask because if this is not normal and there is some sort of issue, I am able to send these back up until the 23rd of July. At which point I’ll probably order something else.

I've heard that Grey ghost headphones & the manticore don't play well together.

I've heard they have poor sound quality & not loud enought under water.

Now I don't know this personally, just what I've heard from the water hunters.

Hope you sent them back, that crackling is not a good sign. Where they ever used in the saltwater? A static sound is saltwater intrusion. But it is fairly consistent and can get worse..

I had only used in freshwater, but yep I sent them back. Kind of a bummer since I was hoping to be able to get out in the water at OC, but better to be safe than sorry. I have threshers on order patiently waiting.

I used my threshers this week at the beach. Up to my shoulders all day long never submerged. I wasn't 100% pleased with them to be quite honest. Had underwater boost on with volume 21 (so not maxed out) and seemed to be not the audio I was looking for. Little squawky, almost like the speaker was blown out. I'll give them a few more chances and see how I feel about it. Hope your Threshers are different.
