I know what bars of lead 32" x 2" x 3" weigh and that is like almost 78 lbs lbs. That looks to be more than a slender bar of lead.
probably fake photo or they had to have two men put it in his lap .

Well,I traced it down.This nugget found in Moliagul Victoria Australia in 1800's.Gross weight over 2,520 troy ounces; t8 kg:173 pounds.

I’m not sure how they pulled that off. That nugget should weigh hundreds of pounds.
That would be extremely uncomfortable on the lap. And that dudes pretty old.

Yeeeahhh If it was flat that might be heavy but doable. That thing looks to have some pretty nasty looking bumps and sharp edges. That's not a smile on his face, it's a grimace of pain.
