I hit the sanded in beach again but was lucky and found a spot with a 40 yard trough about 20 feet wide and had an amazing hunt. I first got the Silver ring it must have been there from the 90's but it cleaned up ok after a bath in baking soda and foil. I picture the guy from Wayne's World wearing it. I then got both nickels a 1923 Buffalo and a tiny silver 1918 Canada 5 cents. My first gold of the year came with a very faint signal while in pin point with the excal but no signal in discrimination, I dug 2 scoops down and it started to sound nice. Out came a 10K wedding band with the couples first names and wedding date engraved on the inside.

Very nice, very nice indeed! That quad skull ring is a definite head thumper for sure. Getting a buff with a date is a big plus as well. Congrats

Here is some that made it back to the truck in the pouch

:dingding: That's an outstanding hunt! I love that neat silver ring - very cool! Although most jewelry is worth more than melt when selling it, name brands like that "Artcarved" are better.

That buffalo nickel has an appealing patina; and it's nice that it still bears a legible date, too. Thus far, the buffalo nickel has eluded me, but I hope to find one someday!

And of course, the gold ring is a great find! Especially with the names & date... that could make a good return story. Let us know if you find the owners!
