I have young kids and not a lot of time for hunting right now, so I get it in when I can. On our last trip to the beach, I had a half-hour to search a very clean beach and found a necklace, my first ever! I guess 925 means it is silver.

Hello ArtemisFowl! Nice find. Those little bits of time add up, and you never know, you may inspire your children to follow in your footsteps with detecting and it may become the activity that binds you all together.

Side note: I took my name from a Robert Heinlein book (series of books). As good a place as any to pick a name! Looks like you have been here for a while. Hope to see you around. Happy Hunting.

Some nice 925 for the start of the silver pile!
Thanks for the support! I love this forum!
Welcome to the land of Gold Loving Pirates!

Hyattsville, I grew up in East Riverdale during the 60's mid 70's... had several friends who work in Hyattsville, I worked at a couple custom paint shops down there around lafayette street in the early 80's (I remember going over the RR tracks and down a steep, short, hill making a quick left) and a old GF in Brentwood. Lots of good times and memory's in that area. I would bet magnet fishing over a few of the water ways down there should bring up some interesting treasures..:gunbandanna:😬🤫
