First Gold Find of 2017

I was also told that during the 1900-1920s synthetic stones were new and used ALOT. With mine the fact that it was a soft synthetic stone added to its authenticity.
That stone looks very scratched and worn just like mine was.
If that was a real Sapphire or even a new synthetic sapphire, then it wouldn't be so worn. Sapphires are the second hardest stone in the world.
If you want to have that fixed. I could give u the name of the jeweler I use. He specializes in restoration. And its not that expensive. I think its less than $100 to have the stone re polished And $30 to have it set and straightened.
Here's the before and after

First Gold Find of 2017 - Update

Well, I just had the ring checked out by a local jeweler and the stones are manufactured aka fake stones. But the good news the gold is real. Shucks, just when I was hoping on a double retirement income fund. The search goes on....
