Finds pouches

I went ahead and ordered the Digger Supply pouch. It's called the pack mule and is a little bigger than my beat up and modified Garrett pouch. Looks well made and I can't wait to get it dirty!

I am pretty picky but if I was buying a Finds Pouch it would be a Cabelas Relic Pouch. I am also only a Coin Hunter but this is good. It has a slit in the top to drop trash. The closure is Magnetic so it wont wear out. It has a zippered coins pouch, a Pin pointer holder, another place for batteries or whatever, and Water Bottle Pouch.

I don't use pouches.....they're all too bulky and I can't stand anything hanging around my neck or hanging off my shorts pulling them down......lol. I always wear pants or shorts with deep pockets and the good stuff goes in the right pocket and the junk goes into the left. When the left gets too full I head for a trash can

I do the exact same, less gear to slow me down. I do have a Relic Elite pouch that hopefully will turn out to be useful, but I haven't been on a hunt long enough away from my vehicle to justify using it yet. Maybe once spring comes with better weather.

This is my new finds pouch. A lady friend of ours made us each one. She is just now getting started in metal detecting and is really interested. She has bought a detector and about everything else she needs. She made these pouches for us. The back pocket is large enough for trash and the front pocket is zippered for coins.

I went to Cabelas to buy a Relic Elite and found that the belt is way too narrow to use your own belt. Deal Breaker to me.

Ok great pouches for city parks , what do you guy's use on the hiking trails , or old home sites . I frequently use a bucket , my wife will bring a small back pack . I use the bucket to carry 18 lesche , small 14 inch lopper , I rest sit on it and use it as a marker working around it . Handy to carry old bottles metal treasure items ( junk I find ,carry for miles ) and end up in the trash ! Our beachs don't give up a lot of gold but we have a lot of great rocks , driftwood and fishing lures.
So I can see how shorts , flip flops and a cute pouch works in the park kiddie section , but what do the men use hunting in the wild . Soon the car will have to be traded for a tactical van to hold all the equiptment , how many times have you not been prepared for changing conditions ? :(. HH

When out in the woods, I carry this little sling pack. Good for packing lunch or a raincoat. Even better for stashing larger finds that take up too much room in the pouch. I stumbled onto a small bottle dump the other day and was glad I had this to help pack them all out. :waytogo:

I wish there was a pouch for us "portly" sort of guys.

Options :

1. Loose weight (I'm trying but...pizza.)

2. I'll use a backpack for now.

Has anyone tried those side pouch they advertise on Amazon for motorcyclist , horse back riding , it straps around the waist and leg like a holster . I'm getting one for my daughter horse back riding . It's on the smaller side but it will work for her Epi pen , phone and a couple other things she needs quick access to . If I like it going to get one for MDing HH
