Excalibur II EMI Issues post-repair

Apologies for bumping an old thread but what ended up happening?
Sorry I didn't see this earlier. It is a very long story with twists and turns. Requiring more than one beer to tell.

But the bottom line is I have two excaliburs that I sent in to repair center and one that has not. I can sit all 3 next to each other. The two I sent in are overwhelmed with EMI on Oahu (I expect military radar). The other one is as stable as new. I can only deduce that something in the process at the Service Center has changed the sensitivity potentiometer or the software of the two I sent in. And one of the ones I sent didn't get repaired, just a coil change and o-rings.

And the weird part is they work fine in PA (Service Center) and Oregon and Caribbean (where I have tested them).

I will be keeping the one that works on Oahu for diving, otherwise my everyday machine is an Equinox 700 that works perfectly here. Let me know if you have specific questions, but PM me so I get a notification. Hope this helps

Interesting, I would hope that there is not that much of a variance between machines and parts used for them but who knows. I also have an equinox 600 that I used in the wet sand/wading that I really like but when i get out into the water excal still my preferred machine.
