I have been reading with interest about beach hunters watching for beach erosion events.
Here in gold country we are having an erosion event. We normally only get 10 to 12" of rain a year, and today we got about 2" in less than 24 hours. The creeks are running full, the hillside cuts are sliding off, and the culvert pipes are catching gold.
as soon as the water resides the nugget hunters will be out in force! DR
