Equinox 800 user curious about hunting in Beach 2

Hello everyone. I have read some threads here that suggest Beach 2 is the best mode for hunting in all environments (including dirt) when it comes to finding silver targets. Agree or disagree?

I have tried all the settings and found park 1 and field 2 in multi will get the silver.

Just finished reading Andy Sabisch's Minelab book. On page 107 a British detectorist, Neil Jones, describes using Beach 1, with settings designed to give what he says are great results every imaginable terrain.

No mention of silver but he said with his settings the machine runs very quiet and stable. I know i will have to read this book a couple more times and get a lot of time in on my new 600.

I run park 1 with a coin shooter style mode

I'm listening...

I current hunt parks and yards for coins by using Park 1, then reducing F2 to 0, but I'm open to suggestions.

While Beach 2 is my operating mode at the beach and I understand it well. Not sure it would out preform on land.

A small test garden would be able to decide that pretty quick [i would think]

Or saving a user profile program to check deep targets in the field.

Those are my go-to programs also.

I use Park 1 on land, Beach 1 on sand and Beach 2 in the water.
