I am in connecticut just felt an intense shaking... lasted about 10 or 15 seconds... buildings in NYC were swaying and it was felt in Jersey as well... news said it was 4.8 quake.

I haven't heard of maybe earthquakes on the east coast, wow.

I felt it at work in Central MA, only lasted maybe 2 seconds, enough to make ripples in my morning coffee had to check inside my coffee cup and make sure it was in fact coffee in there

There is a fault line not far from the Connecticut River perhaps 20 or so miles from where I live. Once years ago I crossed the river on Rt.95 South from east to west and turned up route 9 toward Hartford and as I made the curve onto the north bound lane my vans wheels started skipping and sliding to the left!!! After less than a minute everything settled down and I drove the 20+ miles to work where I heard there was an earthquake not far from where I was driving. My daughter has an office upstairs in my house and she felt some shaking up there this am.
Old Ma Nature reminds us often that we need to change our ways!!!!!!!!!!! Read some scarry stuff recently about the geyser, "Old Faithful" and how it sits on some of the deepest / most unstable substrate on the planet. There has been some disturbing activity out there and experts are saying that if it breaks loose humanity as a whole will suffer!!!

2 seconds you lucked out... I wrong about time it lasted 30 seconds... one of my customers told me she thought a plane was crashing into her house... I felt 2 aftershocks after the main quake.... not the first time I have felt them here but this was strongest... when I went to Colombia my first day there we had a 6.0 quake...I felt it at work in Central MA, only lasted maybe 2 seconds, enough to make ripples in my morning coffee
If you do send him any, don’t use homing pigeons. Mine disappeared, and I believe may have been consumed. Try carrier pigeons. I’m told they’re not as tasty.

We had an earthquake here yesterday. Taiwan had a big one the other day too. Batten down the hatches folks
