Dirty snow

Yesterday on my way to my detecting site I noticed the sky was hazy brown in color. The weather forecast the night before said due to a massive dust storm in Texas and Oklahoma was headed our way and we are under a heavy snow warning. They said it would be a dirty snow event. Yesterday our snow was gone, and it was 67*. Right now, it is snowing big time, everything is now covered in that crap. 3-5" expected. And they wonder why us northerners' resort to the use of alcohol.

It was 75 here in central Wisconsin and that snow missed us the ground is bare here and just waiting for the frost to go out . The sunny spots the frost is gone but not the shady spots .
I usually don't get to detect till mid April this year looks like I will be out earlier . sube

Wow, that is no fun ... just a friendly reminder ... don't eat the yellow snow ... Oh, and I'll put a few of these in for Tom ^^ ... ^^ Well stay warm and prosper.
