Computer went nuts !!

I was kicked off almost all my sites, including this one, and couldn't figure my username and password, so I couldn't reply or post anything, that is why I was gone for a couple days, but got back on today !!

whew!!! I have a notebook with all my PWs, Usernames, good grief, nothing like the PW panic.

All my passwords are off line in an address book kept in a fireproof safe. Never trust having them on the computer for two reasons: 1) computer crash that you cannot recover from 2) hackers can get in and find your document with all your passwords and that is not good.

Make all your financial institution passwords require entering a code sent to your Iphone. Your best protection from hackers.

Sounds like your Cache got corrupt or got changed to not keep cookies.

Glad you got them back, that can be a real pain.

It happened to me when I changed browsers to DuckDuckGo.

I use my own encryption, so to speak. At the logon prompt I have a system to use the letters & numbers on the logon site as my password. My password is different for every site, and easy to remember because it is right there at the logon.
