So I brought loads of Felix pennies to my local cornstarch and I'll be darned! The usage fee is very high now! I put in about $2.40 and was charged 80cents!
All I bought was a gallon of water for $1.59

At some you can get a gift card instead and they don't charge a fee for them. I usually get an Amazon one but they have others, at least on some of them around here. Otherwise, yeah it's BONL.

There must be several detectorists near me because several coin stars were broken probably due to crusty saltwater coins.

I have found some crusty zinc cents a few times and wondered if they were fellow detectorist. I clean and sort the coins I put through them, tossing the crappy zinclons. Found a 1961 Rosie at the local market CS two days ago - first silver in a loooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnngggggg time. Happy me.
