Bullet pin not sure what war

Dug this bullet pin yrs ago recently rediscovered it in a box of old digs .
Not sure what war its from and im guessing it was part of a service medal but i could be wrong

Old tin toys used to have clamps like that holding pieces together. Maybe it's from that?

Definitely some form of decoration that is clamped to fabric or thin leather I would guess. Probably plated at one time too. Good going.
