After a certain moderator mentioned recently that I was slacking on the pennies, I decided to go to "Penny Beach" for some fun. I hadn't been there in a while so I charged up Noxy, loaded my car for work. I was able to leave work early and hunted for almost 3 hours. No gold, but I did manage the 2 silver rings and 120 coins. It seems that I don't have the penny prowess that I used to as I was 3 short of 100. So maybe I have lost my touch like he says. :p

My friend that's what happens when those that wake up in the morning just wishing they were you have to resort to a beat down. You do know I'm reading YOUR post right. I'm not seeing much other action from ..... well, you know.:rofl2::rofl2: Well done my friend. You are three shy of 100. That's the three they found after three hours work.:waytogo::rofl::rofl:

Those pennies are too clean... what happened to all the crusty worthless ones? You are slacking... I am really disappointed in you.. Did you notch out gold as well?

Pulltabs ? How dare you ! If that was Lawerence he would disc those out. Aren't you going to retire this mon

Felix cleans up Miami beaches but I skip the bouncy felix penny signals, I only dig a few out here on the west coast of California.

I know the feeling Joe... I haven't hunted since last April and way things are going who knows when... my right knee very painful when I try to walk down a decline and that is what slopes are... just last week I had my knee drained of fluid which has helped with some of the pain.. I was shocked the amount of fluid he got out of it, no wonder it was throbbing 24/7 on another note, I had been calling a friend who I used to hunt with.. 4 days in a row to pick up on his end... then yesterday he did pick up but didn't recall talking with me in past.. then last night I had a call from his number, it was his daughter... she told me he was suffering from Dementia, he is 75... we talked a while on phone she asked me to keep trying to call him and I told her I would... its a shame... same thing happened when I called Bill Crabtree, Mr.Bill.. his daughter told me he is out of it.. it makes sense now because when I brought up metal detecting questions to him he didn't know what I was talking about.

This hobby can take a physical toll for sure. knees, elbows and shoulders. Then of course father time starts catching up and that bed feels so comfortable in the early morning when low tide arrives-oh maybe tomorrow.
