went to a small park a couple towns over that I have hit off and on for the last 25 years or so. I have always been able to pull Wheaties out of here but the silver has been a tough find here. Since I have really been in tune with the CTX I decided this was a good spot. Well I was not disappointed, first target was a 11/42 at 8" and I just knew I had a silver dime. Sure enough at 8" out pops a 1912S Barber dime! 10 minutes later another 11/42 at 6" and out pops a 1919 Merc! 2 silvers and I had only been there 30 minutes! The next hour and a half netted me some deep Wheaties and then my 1/4" jack on my Koss headphones crapped out. Luckily I had my spare Koss headphones BUT unluckily there were the ones with the 1/8" jack and I left my 1/8 to 1/4 adapter on one of my other units. Guess I will have to go back for the rest of it another time.
I must say I have run ALOT of detectors in the last 30 or so years and this CTX 3030 really takes the cake. I know it may sound like BS but finding silver has never been easier! This makes 47 silvers for the CTX so far this season and 66 silvers total.
