Had my non jewelry finds in a separate bag. Lost it somewhere:roll: Luckily I didn't lose the chain bag:lol: Small hole I worked only had a few coins anyways. One quarter, one dime, one zinc cent and two nickels. Found with the Manticore. Deus ll also hammers the chain being 18K. Checked it in the same hole the chain came out of. Was stretched straight in nature since a lot of the chain pulled straight out from beside the hole. Chain is marked 750.

Crucifix appears to be Acacia wood with metal inlays. I know it wasn't a floater since I dug it about 10" down. Lower right earring and ring are silver. Weird leaf looking ring has me puzzled since it's a junker joined in the middle with the hallmarks CZ SU CH. They put a CZ on the inside of the ring. Have seen it in good jewelry but not a junker.

My Honey Badger scoop is cracking and with the long snout is a pain to get small jewelry to the jewelry catcher at the back. Not really liking the Xtreme Surfmaster scoop so far. So bought a CKG Titanium scoop to test out. So far the jewelry catcher is working and I like the way it digs and how light it is. So far the issue is the shaft being loose with a side wobble. Tried packing it with teflon tape which didn't work. Caulked it in now. If that doesn't work I'm breaking out the epoxy. Gold luck out there!

Thanks for the Gold Luck! I need it this year.

Dang Larry....you're killin' it even in the off season. Ain't no way there's that much jewelry left on any of my beaches at this point of the year. I even try some "not so popular" areas and still come up nearly empty. All I can seem to find is other guys with detectors!

I wrapped a couple turns of 3" duct tape around my CF shaft just below where the top of the neck of the CKG scoop comes to. Punch through the tape with a small phillips to uncover your bolt holes in the shaft. That extra little bit of diameter stopped any wobble that may have been there, but I really had to cram and twist the handle to get it in there lined up properly with the bolt holes in the scoop. Been wobble free for about a year now.

I wish CKG had the titanium model with the jewelry catcher when I ordered. All they had was the hex holes only and I've been chasing all sort of small stuff in the water ever since. Thinking of adding some stainless screening into mine.

WOW! What a haul of loot. You definitely hit the right spot at the right time. Well done.

You might have a better than average silver ring from my experience with all those stamps. Gotta love any 18k , very nice ! When I had my CKG tit scoop I put a solid plastic dowel inside for more stability , 1 wrap of duct tape on the outside to help fill the small gap wobble. Then this inside brass nut/bolt from HD. I had to drill out a slightly larger hole straight through the existing holes and new dowel. Clean look and smooth , rather than something protruding out to cut your fingers.

I may be able to buy thinner duct tape? The one I have is too thick

Where'd you find the solid plastic dowel? I ordered a piece that was shipping from Canada to use on another handle. It never passed customs. Guess they thought it was a stick of TNT?
Well done!!! 👍🏻
Thank you!
Congratulations 🍹🍹😎
Thanks Hamid!

You know the excitement of pulling one out of the ground. The 24k ones I dug, when I saw the clasps I was like " Come on baby! Be a jump rope!" A bracelet busts your bubble like a Robin breaking off an earthworm.
